- Hi, I'm a senior at the University of Denver majoring in Digital Media Studies and Geography. These two areas of study compliment each other very well by teaching me to think with both the left and right sides of the brain. In hopes to further connect my passions in life I have focused on what is important to me and the world around me. Digital Media Studies is a critical program that has allowed me to recreate and visualize how I see myself as an artist. Geography on the other hand, has allowed me to broaden my world view while honing the science behind spatial and cultural understanding. My life has been very focused on the environment and people around me, and in order to help these aspects prosper I must develop as best as I can on the inside. Completing a higher academic education is one way I plan on accomplishing this goal.
I think your goal for your project to be humorous is off to a great start. I figured that if your going to be doing animation you might want to check out some of these videos.

I really like the idea of the squirrel hunter or squirrel fishing as it is called. i think that the humor with be represented well across the project. I also think the first idea was strong especially the way you would be able to go around corners and through walls, it reminded me of that screen saver maze. Either direction you go in, i think it will be a successful project.
ReplyDeleteI liked that you are sketching your ideas, it gave a very clear visual representation of your ideas. I am wondering if you are planning to draw your figures by hand or use another method to animate using stop motion. I like the humor of your second idea, it gives a little more of a story line or plot to your project.
